SGES Dev LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Rewyre mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. You may optionally provide a display name for community features.
  • Profile Information: Information you voluntarily provide during onboarding, such as your goals, challenges, and preferences to personalize your experience.
  • Journal Entries: Personal reflections and journal content you create within the App. This content is stored securely and is private to your account.
  • Community Content: Posts, comments, and interactions you make in the Rewyre community. While community participation is anonymous to other users, this content is associated with your account.
  • Communications: Information you provide when contacting our support team.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, time spent, streaks, milestones achieved, and Protocol progress.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Log Data: Access times, pages viewed, app crashes, and other system activity.

Information from Third Parties

  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to premium features, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.
  • AI Services: When you use AI coaching features, your prompts are processed by our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. See Section 4 for details on AI data handling.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features
  • Personalize your experience and deliver relevant content
  • Track your progress through the Protocol and display milestones
  • Enable community features and anonymous interactions
  • Provide AI-powered coaching and support
  • Process subscriptions and manage your account
  • Send important notifications about your progress, streaks, and the App
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the App experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our hosting partners. Journal entries and personal content are encrypted at rest and in transit.

Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
  • Secure authentication protocols
  • Regular security assessments
  • Limited employee access to personal data

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

4. AI FEATURES AND DATA PROCESSING

Rewyre includes AI-powered coaching features. When you use these features:

  • Your messages are sent to our AI service provider (Anthropic) for processing
  • AI conversations may be used to improve response quality
  • We do not use your AI conversations to train AI models
  • AI responses are generated in real-time and are not reviewed by humans unless you report an issue

Important: The AI coach is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or crisis helpline.

5. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Cloud hosting and data storage
  • Analytics services
  • AI processing services
  • Customer support tools

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Community Features

When you participate in the Rewyre community, your posts are visible to other users. Your identity remains anonymous—other users see only your chosen display name (if any) and cannot access your email or personal information.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
  • Protect the safety of our users or the public
  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud or security issues

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

6. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES

Account Settings

You can access and update your account information within the App settings.

Notifications

You can manage push notification preferences in your device settings or within the App.

Data Export

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion:

  • Your account and profile information will be permanently deleted
  • Your journal entries will be permanently deleted
  • Your community posts may be retained in anonymized form
  • Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 17, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from your country. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information remains protected.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
